The possibility of a Perfect Storm is brewing that may change the course of American economic history. Events will occur during the fourth quarter of 2012 that will affect the way we conduct business in 2013 and beyond.
As real estate professionals and business owners, we wonder what the long term effects of the fiscal and budgetary crisis and the threat of sequester in the U.S. Congress will be. With the weakening world economy, will a second recession hit the U.S. and Europe in 2013? How will our businesses react to the issues of tax increases proposed for 2013? What are the impacts of the Affordable Health Care Act new taxes and the sun setting on favorable real estate legislation in December 2012? Today, REIA has assembled a group of real estate professionals and scholars to debate the topics and give us direction in the pending storm.
